EXPLORATION 1

1. STRUCTURAL FRAMEWORK

MATERIALS: WIRE MESH, POP BANDAGES, NAILS, WOODEN BLOCK,BALOONS.

It add structural understanding it was a new approach and we visualized many things. And it contributed to our understanding. We were able to know about structural loads.

EXPLORATION 2 EXPLORATION 3

MATERIALS: BALLOONS, POP BANDAGE, WOODEN BLOCK

MATERIALS: WIRE MESH, POP BANDAGE, NAILS, WOODEN BLOCK, ALUMINIUM SPOKE

Afolded plate roof is best described as an assembly of flat plates, or slabs, that are bent in different directions and joined at their longitudinal edges. The way the structural system is connected makes it capable of carrying loads without requiring the use of additional support beams. These structures are typically built on-site of precast reinforced concrete, steel plates, or tempered glass. Various shapes include rectangles, pyramids, prisms, and non-rectangular shapes.

2. FOLDED
PLATE STRUCTURE - ORIGAMI

3. EXPLORATION OF TENSILE STRUCTURE IN 3D CUBE

4. Individual group model exploration of 3D cubes
