CLUB PROJECTS FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL

FRANKLIN’S JAPAN RELIEF FUNDRAISER Our Japan Fundraiser consisted of selling shirts to raise awareness of the natural disaster that occurred on March 11, 2011. We raised a little over two hundred dollars, and we are in the process of donating the money to Mercy Corps so that they can send the money over to Japan to aid the people who are in need of help. It was a sudden project that we, the Franklin Key Club officers, decided to take on. It was all for a great cause, and we are very glad that we took some action to contribute to Japan. Our prayers go out to Japan and other countries that are suffering from natural disasters and other tragic world events. Our prayers go out to Japan and other countries that are suffering from natural disasters and other tragic world events. -Christina Chac, Club President, the Key Club of Franklin High School Division 62

HEAR IT FROM A MEMBER: Raymond Ch창u (Graduating Senior) My experience in Key Club has been an inspiring one. I have never seen so many motivated individuals take initiative through volunteer activities and devote so much time to a club that was returning to Grant. I have met and made friends with many Key Clubbers from different schools during the year. The opportunity to volunteer and serve the community together with friends has been fulfilling and I am happy to have worked with such an encouraging and spirited adviser. I am also proud to represent my division as one of the scholarship winners and look forward to joining Circle K in college! 10
