ENRIQUE IGLESIAS Se dice que Enrique Iglesias había comenzado a preparar su primer disco a los dieciséis años, pero nadie, ni siquiera su familia, se enteró entonces de las intenciones del joven; por lo tanto, su anuncio de que se iba a dedicar al mundo de la canción fue una gran sorpresa para propios y extraños. Esto ocurrió cuando el madrileño contaba veinte años, en 1995. Enrique Iglesias siempre dejó muy claro que no quería sacar provecho de su apellido, y llegó incluso a plan-

Enrique Iglesias consiguió un contrato con Discos Bat, una modesta compañía discográfica española que le editó su primer disco, Enrique Iglesias, que vio la luz el 25 de septiembre de 1995. En pocas semanas consiguió ser disco de oro en Portugal,

I was very young and naïve. I noticed Greg was behaving differently, but I had no idea what was going on with him. Greg’s behavior worsened. He became extremely jealous, paranoid, angry, depressed, and irresponsible. One day, I caught him having a conversation with his television. That’s when I decided that I was no longer going to put myself through that. Many times when a loved one is going through a hard time we desperately want to “save them”. For months, I tried to “save

It wasn’t until he opened up to the possibility that perhaps his true soul mate was out there waiting for him and understood that relationships are not meant to be a struggle and full of pain. By the grace of God, I convinced him, and he is now in a healthy, loving relationship and recently got engaged. Gianni cannot thank me enough. His ex-girlfriend

When I asked why he did not end it, he would always say he felt bad for her. I explained to Gianni that precisely for that reason it wasn’t fair to her, and that the best thing he could do was to end the relationship so she could move on and find someone who truly wanted to be with her. We are doing a disservice by staying in relationships we know are going nowhere. Gianni was stand-

Too many people live in what I like to call a “life coma.” It seems as if they are living, but they really aren’t. They are just going through the motions. Quite frankly, I think the best example we can give to our children is to be in loving, positive relationships even if it’s not mommy with daddy. Our children can sense when we are unhappy, so we are setting the example of sacrifice to our children. In essence, we are saying that you must stay in a relationship even if you are miserable for the sake of the kids. I expected Greg to eventually return healed, so that we could finally get married. However, life had other plans. Months later, I started dating a lovely man named George, fell in love, and for over 12 years we have been going strong. Had you told me at that train station that Greg was not the one I was meant to marry and that someone else was my soul mate, I would have thought you were insane. I be-
we played in the relationship as well. Only then, will we truly grow. Chew on this for a bit: are you always attracting partners that cheat, or lie, or criticize you, or___? Then is it safe to say that you have strong beliefs around these issues. If you are always saying things such as “men are all cheaters” please realize that that is exactly what you are going to attract in your life. Our egos want to prove us right, so we keep attracting the same type of people. This all happens on a subconscious level. The only way to break the pattern and avoid this from happening is to do the inner work. Stop looking for your other half, you are not broken! And stop saying you need someone to “complete” you. The more you work on yourself the more you will attract an amazing partner. Alan Cohen says, “When you fall in love with yourself, you will be irresistible to everyone else.” Please do not settle for less. We are all meant to have blissful, loving, and respectful relationships.

Luego de dos años de matrimonio, la cantante y el beisbolista han decidido poner fin a su matrimonio. Un comunicado de parte de Rivera dice que la demanda de divorcio fue "por situaciones irreconciliables entre ambas partes, derivado de circunstancias que sucedieron a lo largo de los dos años que duró el matrimonio entre ellos, y que son situaciones privadas para ambos que no se harán del conocimiento público”. Su objetivo principal es el de llevar ayuda a familias necesitadas, no sólo en Maywood, CA, sino también en las comunidades circunvecinas. “Maywood for All Foundation” fue creada por Eric Díaz en septiembre del 2011 tras una campaña política en la que no logró ganar, pero que sí le abrió los ojos a la carencia que existe de necesidades básicas en grandes segmentos de la comunidad latina. Díaz, nacido en Torrance, California de padres mexicanos, fue criado en México y al regresar a EE.UU.,su país de origen, ha tenido que luchar como todo inmigrante por salir adelante. Sin embargo, siempre se ha propuesto grandes metas, la más reciente siendo la de expandir su fundación.

"PAVO ADOBADO CON CHILE COLORADO" INGREDIENTES: • Chorizo • Aceite de Oliva • Apio 300g • Zanahoria 300g • Cebolla Blanca 300g • Caldo de Pollo 500 cc • Pan de Maíz 300g • Cilantro • Sal y Pimienta • Un Pavo • Salsa de Chile Colorado 400 cc • Hilo de Bridar.
PREPARACIÓN: • Desmenuzar el chorizo y poner en un sartén con un poco de aceite de olivo. • Agregar el apio picado, la zanahoria picada y la cebolla blanca picada. • Incorporar el caldo de pollo y el pan de maíz. Dejar cocinar bien. • Agregar el cilantro y salpimentar. • Adobar el pavo con salsa de chile colorado entre la piel y la carne. • Tupir la cavidad del pavo con el relleno de chorizos. But what wasn’t known, and what was revealed in a new report by The Wall Street Journal’s Amir Efrati, is that Google actually considered being involved in manufacturing a selfdriving car. Google began testing selfdriving cars in 2009 with Sebastian Thrun, an engineer who previously worked on the technology with Stanford University faculty. The technology allows cars to drive themselves with the aid of lasers, cameras, and other gear.

The Obama Administration announced today that it will grant deferred action to undocumented youth who were brought to the United States as small children and who have been raised and educated in communities around the country. Today's announcement builds on the prosecutorial discretion initiatives already undertaken by the White House and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and was done to ensure that eligible young people do not fall through the cracks, that resources are used wisely, and that humanitarian factors are considered when enforcing our immigration laws. Deferred action is not permanent legal status or citizenship but rather a way to allow those young people, who have been in this country since they were young, to complete their education, continue their military service or begin their careers. The grant of deferred action will be issued on a caseby-case basis and is renewable every two years.

A Venezuelan doctor said former Cuban leader Fidel Castro is near ‘a neurovegetative state’ after suffering a stroke. Rumors about Castro’s health have circulated consistently in social networks and the media. But the speculations intensified recently, to the point that word spread that he had died and that the Cuban government would make an official announcement to that effect.
Castro was last seen in public in March, during the visit to Cuba of Pope Benedict XVI. Since June, he has not written his opinion columns, called “Reflections.” He did not send any message or congratulation to Chávez for his recent election victory. Castro is in his home in El Laguito, Havana, receiving constant and specialized medical care, Marquina said. The idea of the Cuban authorities and Castro’s family is to maintain him alive and far from public view, the doctor said. “He could last weeks like that, but what I can say is that we’ll never again see him in public,” said Marquina in a telephone interview.
