3,041 metres of altitude. A 500-metre precipice. 150 steps of heartpounding. That’s something visitors can expect on the TITLIS Cliff Walk, the spectacular suspension bridge high up on the summit. Crossing it requires nerves as strong as the wire ropes on which the bridge hangs.

Once at the summit, you pass through the glacial grotto via an underground tunnel to the viewing platform at the south-face window. The suspension bridge spans all the way from this point to the top station of the Ice Flyer glacier chairlift. The TITLIS Cliff Walk is only 1 metre wide and over 100 metres long. At the Engelberg-Titlis Golf Club, the unique mountain panorama complements the golfing challenges to create a unique combination of sport and nature. The 18-hole golf course with well-placed streams, lakes and bunkers is suitable for golfers of all levels. Nevertheless, even for experienced players, neither the sport nor the game strategy is neglected.

LUCERNE

Located at the Vierwaldstättersee, Lucerne is the social and cultural focal point of Central Switzerland. With over 81,000 inhabitants, Lucerne is the seventh-largest city in the Swiss Confederation. Events with supra-regional appeal include the Lucerne Carnival and the Lucerne Festival. The city is an important tourist destination, because of both its lakeside location, close to the Alps, and its sights, such as the Chapel Bridge and the Swiss Museum of Transport.
