interested in running for higher office? Key Club offers many different leadership opportunities, and although the options may seem overwhelming at first, each position is unique in its responsibilities. Before deciding what position is right for you, you must know your strengths and what aspects of Key Club you enjoy most. District and International positions may come with new responsibilities but they do not diminish preexisting responsibilities to home clubs and divisions. Key Clubbers who are elected to higher offices are expected to maintain their current level of involvement with their clubs and should serve as role models to other members. You have the opportunity to make a long-lasting change on the opportunities that future Key Clubbers will have in their home clubs, divisions, and district. Please read the Elections Packet here for more information!
please email me at division11@nydkc.org no later than January 20th
interested in applying and winning awards? Every year, New York District gives out over 100 awards to clubs and individuals who have served so diligently as members of their schools and communities. Our initiative is to commend those individuals and clubs that have gone above and beyond in caring for the community, demonstrating leadership, building character, and staying inclusive to all. If you are a member, committee member, committee head, or board member, there is an award for everyone. Clubs can apply for awards as a whole, which are presented to the club at our annual Leadership Training Conference. Please read the Awards Booklet here for more information!
