Obituary Cora Chambers, whom lived with expendable glory from Jehovah Jireh in his son’s name Jesus Christ. Cora lived by much glory from her family. Cora entered the world of Criminal Justice by graduating as a Corrections Officer at the Wackenhut Men’s Correctional Facility in Kyle, Texas. There is no doubt that she could hold her own, working with desperate individuals who made mistakes. Her determination, diligence and courage helped her to promote to Sergeant in a short period of time. Shortly after being promoted to Sergeant she was promoted to Lieutenant where her intellect and ability to communicate with other shined. Cora’s dedication to herself and to the community was evident as she assisted the facility to maintain compliance with state standards. While she excelled in her career, Cora also held the family together. She was committed to her husband, her children and especially her grandchildren. She was always calm and collective during times of strife; and no matter how tough things were at the time she always available to help others by putting them first and herself second. She was proceeded in death by her father; Early Hargrove; mother Velma Hargove; brothers; Ricky Hargrove (Mary), Charles Hargrove; and sister; Judy Lynn Hargrove. Mrs. Chambers is survived by her husband; Louis Chambers Sr. Her Children; Louis Chambers Jr, Kenneth Chambers (Kristen), Nicole Chambers-Hensley (David), Grandchildren; Kenny Webber, David D. Hensley, Christopher Chambers, Kelsey May, Casey Hayes (Derek), Great-grandchildren; Kam & Kennedy Jade Webber, Sisters; Betty Brooks (Rick), Esther Hargrove (Roy), Brother; Tim Hargrove (Teresa) and an abundance of loving family and friends.

Cora’s Favorite The Peace that I give you transcends your intellect. When most of your mental energy goes into efforts to figure things out, you are unable to receive this glorious gift. I look into your mind and see thoughts spinning round and round: going nowhere, accomplishing nothing. All the while, My Peace hovers over you, searching for a place to land. Be still in My Presence, inviting Me to control your thoughts. Let My Light soak into your mind and heart, until you are aglow with My very Being. This is the most effective way to receive My Peace.
