MEET THE TEACHER Mrs Toonen
HELLO!
My name is Christin Toonen, and I am honoured to be teaching Year 5 at King’s Christian College, Logan Village this year. In my classroom, I place a strong emphasis on skills that help students discover meaning, consider different perspectives, and think critically. This is why I am passionate about Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Through PBL, students engage in solving open-ended, real-world problems, drawing on their prior knowledge and experiences. They become leaders and decision-makers, working collaboratively to find solutions. I am looking forward to the year ahead of us!
