MEET THE TEACHER Mrs Ryan
Hello! My name is Monique Ryan- welcome to 5RB!
I am thrilled to be the lead teacher of Year 5 in 2025 and am eagerly anticipating meeting you all soon! I grew up here on the Gold Coast in a family that loves Jesus and loves to surf. Although I don’t surf very much these days, on the weekend you will often find me at the beach. My husband and I have 3 beautiful daughters, a dog, Seuss, and two guinea pigs, Lani and Jay.
Teaching brings me great joy and there is nowhere else I’d rather be than teaching at King’s.

3 FUN FACTS
1. I attended King’s from Year 1-12 so I am a King’s Kid too!
2. I love music, am always singing, have a passion for reading and love snorkelling in rock pools at the beach. On top of that, I’m a huge sports enthusiast. Phin’s up!
