MEET THE TEACHER Miss Emily McParland
HELLO!
My name is Miss McParland and I am thrilled to be teaching Prep for the fourth time in 2025. I grew up in Sydney and now love living on the beautiful Gold Coast. I have always had a passion for teaching, particularly in the lower years, and I love seeing children find their unique strengths. It is a joy to be part of the King’s family where we can teach students daily about how much God loves them. I look forward to meeting our lovely PPD families soon!

ABOUT ME
I have a pottery wheel at home and love making tiny bowls and mugs! I was a teacher aide (while studying to be a teacher) and I loved it! I love exploring beaches and the city, checking out new bakeries and Op shops!
