Employer Opportunities: Your guide to recruiting from King’s
We’ve recruited a number of students from King’s on to our graduate programmes. We’re interested in talented students applying to us with strong academics but just as important are their employability skills. Applicants who stand out are those who’ve done research and are well-prepared. As a leading employer of graduates, we recognise the important role played by King’s Careers & Employability and their professional skills programme, in producing high-calibre, motivated individuals who are ready to enter the world of professional services. - PricewaterhouseCoopers
Why King’s? Events
Career Guidance
The university’s career service, King’s Careers & Employability, is committed to hosting high quality events to increase the opportunity for inspiring students to speak face-to-face to employers and to create a personal touch within increasing impersonal recruitment processes.
Students at King’s have access to expert and professional guidance from a team of faculty-specific careers advisors. The students are not only advised on how to create an attractive and relevant CV or how to be an appealing and interesting interviewee, they are encouraged to stand out in the job market by increasing their employability through learning new skills and engaging in extra-curricular activities during their time at King’s.
As well as career fairs, which attract hundreds of passionate and motivated students, the events team here at the careers service also run sector specific series. These are brimming with seminars and workshops given by employers within the theme’s sector, giving our students the opportunity to ask specific questions, learn valuable employability skills, and gain the upper hand over the crowded talent pool.
