Role of Prefects
House prefects are an essential part of the smooth running of the House. They work in conjunction with Mrs Matthews and as well as assisting House staff when on evening duty, they also help organise House events such as Inter-House competitions and House entertainment. They also have an important pastoral role in the House too. I very much encourage all the Upper Sixth to apply to be a House Prefect, so it allows them to further their leadership skills within the context of the House.
The House Prefects are crucial in setting the right tone and engendering the ethos of the House. The House Prefect Team is managed by the Head of House and assisted by the Deputy Head of House.
