When bringing in your own home-prepared food, you will be required to provide:

• All table coverings, napkins, dishware, eating utensils, food service, warming/cooling dishes, or containers.

• Cleaning the room at the end of the event including, gathering all trash and removing it from the property, vacuuming and stacking chairs within 60 minutes of the event ending.

• Wiping down all food tables.

• $500 refundable cleaning deposit that will be returned following a post-event inspection.

The Sioux City Convention Center will provide:

• Set-up/Final tear-down of all tables and chairs.

• (1) 16x8 2ft Riser stage for a head table.

• Tables and Chairs for all guests, food, and specialty tables.

• Vacuum to clean at the end of the night.

• Heavy Duty trash bags to dispose of all garbage.

• Beverage service (at current published prices) available via a bar or other desired beverage options.

Payments and policies /Pagos y políticas

DEPOSITS

For all events, we require a 50% of the venue room rental as a non-refundable deposit with a signed contract. The deposit is used to secure the event space and it is deducted from the final bill. Please refer to the original Booking Contract for additional deposit information.

PAYMENTS

The remainder of the bill is due no later than 7 business days prior to the reception. We also require a credit card on file for any lastminute charges over the final payment amount. The card will not be charged without prior notification. Payments can be made on a payment schedule prior to the event, if desired. The final payment will be based on estimated charges based on the guaranteed number of people and services rendered.

GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE

The final number of guests is due to the Catering Office NO LATER than 10 business days prior to the event. If the food and beverage minimum is less than the contracted amount, the difference will be assessed as room rental. Discounted meal prices are available for children 12 and under. Please provide the number of children attending when submitting the guaranteed attendance. Final guarantee numbers are not subject to reduction.

FINAL DETAILS

The final details of the event need to be decided NO LATER than 45 days prior to the event. A planning meeting may be set up 3 to 6 months prior to the event to evaluate progress and ask questions.

SERVICE CHARGE AND OTHER FEES

A 21% service charge and applicable taxes will be added to all food, beverage, audio and visual charges. A $500 minimum is required for each bar. If not reached, a fee of $150 will be applied.

PERSONAL ATTENTION

Our Event Coordinator will be at the event to ensure flawless execution of every detail. Our staff will be on hand to oversee proper set-up and timeliness of events during the evening.

DEPÓSITOS
