Christmas Flowers Once again I am asking for donations towards the cost of decorating the church for Christmas with pot plants. If you are able to help, please see me or place your donation in an envelope in the offering plate. After Christmas the plants are given out to members of our community and are much appreciated. Thank you. Barbara Hodson, flower steward.
THANK YOU
I would like to thank everyone for the prayers, visits, cards and flowers that I have received during these past few weeks. Thankfully my gall stone and bladder have been removed (not to mention a hernia repair that I didn't know I had!!) and I'm now well on the way to recovery, I'll soon be back serving tea and coffee!! Janet Godfrey
Stephen & Susan Bradford give thanks for the safe arrival of their third Grandchild, Olivia Victoria Snow,8lb 6oz daughter to Deborah & Martyn Snow.
Worship Songs Online A large selection of our worship song recordings are available online from our church website. With a smartphone or desktop computer go to http://kirbyfree.org and use the link on the left near the top called “Listen To Our Services” under the “KMFC Podcast” heading. On the next screen click “Church Worship Songs” and enter the password “kmfcworship” (all lowercase). You will then see the growing list of the song recordings available. Click a title to see the play screen or to download the recording to play later, perhaps in the car for example. The index screen has song tags at the bottom to help you find tracks you prefer, such as, singing with the organ (click “Organ”) or Christmas
music (cick “Advent”) etc. Our recordings are also available on CD. – Mike Shenton
As I will not be sending cards this year, but I still want to wish everyone a Happy Blessed Christmas and a Good New Year. Instead I am sending a donation to ‘Coping with Cancer’ who has been very kind to me these past six months. Love Betty Shenton
‘Kathleen Rutland Home for the Blind monthly service.‘ A reminder for those taking part, or who would like to join the group, that the next service will take part on Sunday 14th December from 5.30pm ‘til 6pm. There are fewer folks going along to take part in these regular services, please take time to consider if you could spare half an hour to join them. It is a really vital time for the residents, who do enjoy the singing, and especially the brief chat with us afterwards. Thank you for your support. Gillian Wisdish - coordinator LOST & FOUND
