Glass Recycling Program Update
Due to the positive response to the City’s new Glass Recycling Program, Advanced Disposal (the City’s waste services provider) is extending glass recycling pickup to include the first Tuesday of each month beginning in June 2017! As usual, please have your glass recycling totes set curbside on the first Monday of each month. If your glass tote hasn’t been emptied by the end of the day Monday, please leave your tote curbside, and it will be emptied on Tuesday. As a reminder, glass should be placed directly into your tote. Glass placed inside a plastic bag cannot be picked up. Additionally, if you need to replace your recycling tote, the cost for a replacement is $3.99. If you are not yet participating in the Glass Recycling Program, contact the Finance Department at 660.627.1251 to sign up!
