Daylight Savings Time is almost here! On Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 2:00 am, be sure to move your clock forward one hour to 3:00 am. When you do, be sure to also change the batteries in your smoke alarms!

@kirksvillecity

The Fire Department would like to remind you that a smoke alarm with a dead or missing battery is the same as having no smoke alarm at all! Here are some tips to help ensure your smoke alarm protects you and your family:

@kirksvilleparks

Test your smoke alarm every month.

@kirksvillePD

Change the smoke alarm battery when you change your clocks.
