National Symposium on Technology and Methodology for Security and Crisis Management November 13-14, 2013, Kista, Sweden
First call for abstracts A first aim of the Symposium is to give a comprehensive presentation of the Swedish research and development activities in the security area. Through a number of state of the artpresentations from international experts and contributions from other Swedish and international research groups and industry we also want to give a broad view on international developments in the field. A second aim is to provide a national meeting place for researchers, industry, end-users and decision makers, all under the umbrella of the bi-annual Meeting place Security at Kistamässan. Research topics include, but are not limited to,
the topics in focus for the strategic research areas (SFO) and the national research and innovation agendas (NRIA 2011, FIA 2013) • Secure and robust wireless communications • Advanced sensors and detectors • Cyber security • Interoperability • Ethics • Disaster science • Other
Application areas in focus are
• Critical infrastructure protection • Transport and logistics, including airport and port security • Border security • Technology and methods for first responders

Call for Abstracts
The symposium will have both oral and poster presentations. The selection of contributions will be based on 1 page abstracts. The 1-page abstracts will be printed in the proceedings.
