INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY A BOY and GIRL are sitting in two chairs separately, back to back. Their ring fingers have a red string attached to them and are connected in the middle, a small knot. The two look at the middle and smile to themselves. EXT. PIER - DAY The boy is admiring the East River as the girl sits on the bench writing in a small journal. He turns around and looks at her with enthusiasm. BOY You look beautiful~ He gestures her to come over as she bobs her head up. INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY A SHADOW FIGURE walks towards the girl. It is significantly bigger than the two people, so it bends over and begins to WHISPER to the her. Her smile lowers as she quickly lowers her head and fiddles with her fingers nervously. EXT. PIER - DAY She shakes her head as her eyebrows lower. In response, the boy walks towards her and touches her shoulder. INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY A force moves the shadow figure to be pushed back, away from the girl. She begins to relax. EXT. PIER - DAY She looks up to the guy and smiles, his eyes reflecting in hers and vice versa. He gestures her to come with him, and she hesitantly nods as she puts down the journal. As she gets up and holds him close to her, squeezing the life out of his shoulder, she walks with him to where they were close to the water.

INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY The shadow figure begins to walk again to the girl and, when he reaches her, slides its claws down her neck. She gulps and looks down instantly. EXT. PIER - DAY The girl looks down instantly, beginning to shiver. The ripples of the water sends chills down her spine. She begins to breathe heavily. The guy notices this and hugs her tightly, gesturing that its okay. INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY The shadow figure begins to get pushed again by a force, but this time uses its strength to stand in one place as it WHISPERS to her again. Its smile becomes coiled and elongated as the girl’s face turns more and more scared and sad. EXT. PIER - DAY She bites her tongue and begins to have teary eyes. The man tilts his head in confusion, and grabs her hand. He looks at the East River one more time and begins walking away from the pier, attempting to bring the girl along. However, the girl remains still. INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY The figure walks to the middle of the string and tugs on it. EXT. PIER - DAY A tear falls on the guy’s shoes. He looks at the girl to see she is crying. The guy tries to help her, only for her to push him away and YELL at him. INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY The figure tugs on the string again, this time harder.

EXT. PIER - DAY The guy looks at her in confusion and begins to touch her shoulder again, but she quickly backs away. He tries one more time to reach out to her, but then gives up and walks away. The girl stands exactly where she is. INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY The figure pulls on it so much that the string SNAPS, forcing the young girl and boy to stand up. The boy begins to walk out slowly, and quickly the girl turns around. EXT. PIER - DAY The girl looks down at her hands, shaking, and turns her head around to the man walking away. Her hand reaches out. INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY The boy is out of sight as her hand is reaching towards his direction. She tries to move, but her feet won’t budge. The shadow LAUGHS. EXT. PIER - DAY The girl falls on her knees, her face drenched in tears. Slowly, the shadow figure’s hand appears on her shoulder. She looks up to it, and it offers its other hand to her to help her up. She takes its hand as the shadow figure begins singing Pure Imagination from Charlie’s Chocolate Factory somberly, leading her back to the bench and sits her down. She picks up her journal and opens it. It says GAME OVER. Quickly, she looks to where the shadow figure was again, but it disappears, leaving her alone and to herself. The song begins echoing through her head, and she ends up sobbing.

INT. WHITE ROOM - DAY There is only one chair and the girl sitting in the chair, perfectly still. The red string looks abused and messed up, and the girl appears almost lifeless. The shadow walks once more to her, its claws holding the corners of her mouth once it gets there to make her smile. SHADOW FIGURE You look beautiful. FADE OUT
