The ‘Genuss Region Österreich’ (Pleasure Region Austria) project documents the exceptional produce of the regions: foods with a long-standing tradition and which create delicious flavours in their respective regions. Sampling these products is more than just a special culinary experience; it also serves to preserve the diversity of the landscape. Our small cooking team led by chef Thomas Felzman transforms delicious produce from the regions (e.g. vegetables from North Tyrol, cured bacon from Innviertel, mountain lamb from East Tyrol and plums from Stanz) into typical dishes.

Legends. In Vino Veritas. In order to pay tribute and recognition to some of France’s greatest wines and their history dating back over the centuries in Europe, our traditional cuvée wine has been named ‘Legends’. In order to pay tribute and recognition to some of France’s greatest wines and their history dating back over the centuries in Europe, our traditional cuvée wine has been named ‘Legends’. This is a traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, stored for 16 months in new French barriques. It is defined by its deep ruby red colour with mature edges, an integral fruitiness with hints of caramel and blackcurrant, a complex and multi-layered structure and hints of roasted oak with a powerful yet soft body. The Scheiblhofer vineyard is based in Andau, the Eastern winegrowing region of Austria. A young new generation wine-maker is at the head of the operation in the form of manager Erich Scheiblhofer. The warm location of the vineyard in Andau offers the best conditions for creating Erich Scheiblhofer’s powerful and fruity red wines. The ‘Zweigelt Prädium’ has won numerous national and international awards. In 2009, the Scheiblhofer vineyard was awarded the international title of ‘Winery of the year’ for the 5th time.
