2016 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MINUTES Date Time Venue Minutes

1. Address by President Matthew Law, the president of KLSFIA welcomed all members to the annual general meeting of year 2016. He thanked the committee members, Goh Choon Hong, the advisor, and Mega Tan who contributed and helped him when he was serving as the president. He said the association was now 60 years old since it was registered on May 1957 and there were two Associations to serve the KL & Selangor members. In view of this, a merger proposal had been brought up and approved by the Boards of both Associations. There will be soon only one Association to represent the KL & Selangor Furniture Industry and namely Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Furniture Industry Association (KLSFIA). Both Associations has signed a MOU which held on 11th April resulting in a more positive impact to the members by giving better services and benefits as well as strengthening the union of the KL & Selangor Furniture industry. The AGM agenda to be discussed included the amendment of the constitution and adopting the motions relating to the merger. The merger proposals and constitution amendment shall be adopted by the members to bring a more positive impact to the members.

2. Confirmation of minute of the 2015 AGM on 27 June 2015 The minutes were confirmed upon the proposal of Mr. Soon Yit Siang, representing G-Orient Industries Sdn. Bhd. and seconded by Mr. Tan Tee Wei, representing TGL Design Sdn. Bhd. 3. To receive and adopt the 2015 Committee’s Report The 2015 Committee’s Report was adopted upon the proposal of Mr. Koay Boon Choon, representing C son Office Furniture Sdn Bhd and seconded by Mr. Alan Teo Shiew Hon, representing Seni Daya Woods Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. 4. To receive and adopt Treasure’s Report and the audited account of 2015 The Treasure’s reports were adopted upon the proposal of Mr. Bernerd Wong Wui Von, representing KPK Home Design Sdn. Bhd. and seconded by Mr. Tan Siong Fatt, representing Vesarei Leather Sofa Industries Sdn. Bhd. 5.

To appoint auditors for the financial year 2015 The AGM resolved to appoint HML & Co as the auditor for the financial year 2016.

6. Discussion and adoption of the Amendment for the Rules and Constitutions The amendment for the Rules and Constitutions was unanimously resolved by the AGM. Refer the Appendix 1.
