AGILE METHOD

It´s more than methodology for the speed and flexibility project development, this different way to work and organice.

These methodologies born in the software industry while the process of development, understanding that the traditional model put back the final result, for that, the objective it´s develop quality services and products, that respond to the client needs.

On 2001, was stablished the best practices to obtain good results and created the “Agile Manifiesto“; a model of continue improvement who planify, create, probe the results and make it better, that it´s constant and fast, with clear and limited deadlines, to avoid the procrastination and focus all the attention on determinated task.

AGILE MANIFIESTO

The uncovering of better ways for developing software, by doing it and helping offers do it. Through this work it have come to value:

Individuals and interactions over process and tools.

Working Software over comprehensive documentation.

Customer collaboration over contract negotiation.

Responding

to change

over following a plan.

Encapsulate a wide range of concepts, ideas, prejudices, values and experiences of sotware development. “That is, while there is value in the things on the rigth, we value the items on the left more.”

The Agile Manifiesto and priciples may applied to a much wider context and can be benefical if used on other types of change project, as process improvement or skill

SCRUM

Is a framework focused on delivering, in incremental phases. Scrum encourages teams to lear through experience, take charge of their own work and develop the habit of construclively reflecting on wins and losses to continuously improve.

CHARACTERISTICS

• It employs self-organizing teams.

• A product progresses in a series of “sprints”.

• A constant duration leadas to a better work rhythm.

• Requirements are capturated as items in a list called the “product backlog”.

• No specific engineering practices are prescribed.

• It uses generative rules to create an agile environment for delivering projects.

• Desing, coding and testing all occur during the sprint.

• The emphasis is on core values of focus, courage, openness, respect and commitment.

SCRUM PRINCIPLES AND VALUES

Derived fron Agile Manifiesto, those principles can be applied to all kinds of industries, including construction, healthcare, marketing, finances and banking, insurance, human resources, journalism, legal practice, manufacturating, telecommunications, etc.
