Goal 2:
By 2020, Papillion La Vista Community Schools (PLC Schools) will develop and implement a variety of flexible and innovative individual learning opportunities for students in grades 7-12.
• Expand the number of students served in existing programs.
• Increase technology integration for all students. • Moving towards computer ratio of 2:1 • Researching online learning opportunities.
• Create systematic changes to prepare for individualized learning. • Eliminate class rank for 2020 and beyond.
Action Steps Include: • Secured Sixpence grant to expand home visitation services for at-risk infants and toddlers. • Seek additional preschool space throughout District.
• Enhance career exploration and internship opportunities for all students.
• Outline the vision for high school and middle school education in PLC Schools.
All three and four year olds in Papillion La Vista Community Schools will have access to a quality early childhood program. By 2020, 25% of ALL students will be enrolled in a District program.
International Baccalaureate Goal 3:
Early Childhood Education
By 2015, PLC Schools will research and make recommendation on the possible implementation of the International Baccalaureate Programme or similar programmatic options as part of the Papillion La Vista Community Schools curriculum.

Action Steps Include: • Partnered with Project Harmony to provide mental health services for students through a program called Connections. • Reviewing/evaluating secondary counseling program.
• Implement PBiS, a behavior program, throughout the District.
• Updating suicide/self harm protocols.
•Expanded behavior coaching at all levels.
