Look How Your Dollars Have Grown! Thank you to all of our donors that have pledged over $3 million to protect the health of Georgia’s citizens by supporting a cleaner environment through your workplace giving campaign! Earth Share of Georgia recognizes the following organizations for demonstrating outstanding environmental leadership in their 2007 workplace campaigns: The State of Georgia, Cox Enterprises, Inc., The Home Depot, Kaiser Permanente, Lord Aeck & Sargent and Paul Hastings. Each of these campaigns had significant increases in 2007. In fact, our total campaign pledges exceeded expectations by 15%! Eco-tips to help our

Held at Atlantic Station’s Central Park, more than 300 people celebrated Earth Day against the backdrop of the largest urban brownfield redevelopment in the country and a model for smart growth and sustainability. Guests enjoyed live music, an eco-friendly silent auction, cocktails and fresh fare from Whole Foods Market.

Air, Land and Water

More than 600 employee volunteers representing 20 companies participated in the Earth Day Corporate Green Day Challenge by providing volunteers to 20 different environmental sites. Coca-Cola provided more than 150 of those employee volunteers and won the Green Day Challenge Award! From restoring stream banks, to mulching trees and planting gardens, this year’s projects attracted more employee volunteers than ever before, and an expanded event is planned for 2009.
