ELECTROLUX DESIGN LAB 1700 ENTRIES - 7 4 COUNTRY - PETE - FINALIST
The PETE concept merges plastic bottles and creates garments from them according to your taste. The consumer only has to choose the required clothing type, colour and cutting, while the machine gives the amount of PET bottles needed for the fabrication and turns the bottles into polyester and prints the garments. This method creates a natural recycling method for plastic bottles and turns the consumer into an eco-designer.

INFINIT LIGHT D IS S ER TATIO N PRO J ECT - WEST UNIVERSITY OF TIM IS OARA
Dissertation titled “Infinit light”, 2013. The product is a decorative lamp, but it has enough light for general illumination, which enhances the look of the room and allow for humans in space and suitable acclimated conditions to undertake activites. My concept idea came from the Welwitschia flower. This plant is grown only in the South - West Africa, in the desert of Namibia. Also, the lamp has a complex shape, only a thin strip that matches any style. PVC tape is a flexible and we can do different forms in different places. On the wall, the ceiling, the room chandelier, above people that do not require additional space and light throughout the room, or near the bed reading a book. It is wrapped with thread, and we can achieve by using different textures or colors .. Installation and operation is not difficult for the user. Weight is easy, does not occupy much space, looks clear. It’s a simple, and can be used in minimalist houses, hotels, bars, and various entertainment venues.

PROUD CHAIR U NIVERSIT Y PROJ ECT AT MOME The history of ornaments belongs to the ancient times. Its role changed in the beginning of the20. century. From that on it has been devalved to the art of illiterate and vernacular people. The famous essay „Ornament and Crime” was written by Adolf Loos in 1908. The effect of this script prolonged for a hundred years. The application of ornaments in high art or design is becoming legitimate nowadays. Looking at several symbols, I found an interesting symbol, called Transylvanian cross. This is the symbol of patriotism, it was carved, if the deceased was proud his own Transylvanian origin. This was planted in my chair, and that’s why it called Proud chair.
