Original Design Proposal Skin

The original concept of my design was to personify a spacecraft (or UFO). The design would consist of 8 sides, each representing a planet in our Solar System. I used cardboard and tracing paper for original my model to give my clients a simple visualization of my design. Renderings were also used to give clients an idea of my final model.

Framework will also be installed to fill the empty gap between each wing and showcase the structure of the spacecraft.

2nd Model For my 2nd model I was running out of time and had to make a final decision on what material to use. Cardboard proved to be too heavy and I was unsure how it would react with the wind. Instead of using cardboard I went in search for lighter material and found foam paper to be extremely light. The only obstacles I faced using foam was how insubstantial the material was without support.

Kite In Flight

Problems I faced flying my model, was how the model would only fly horizontal.
