By V. Madison Format:Kindle Edition I picked up this book when looking through the Kindle bestseller lists. I hate taking pills when I feel ill so have always been interested in alternative medicine. What I like about this book is that it's a comprehensive list of ailments with natural cures that you may not have tried. Here in Norfolk (UK), eczema and asthma are huge problems for lots of children and adults (most likely due to the harsh water and agriculture). The book offers several alternatives to try and I have found the essential oils suggested have already helped my daughter's skin. I have suggested this book to friends who also find it difficult to manage their health in this ever-changing world.

Worth getting and keeping as a reference.

She has the material in the book laid out correctly and made an ideal help manual here for those out there looking for what the book offers.

I was thinking about four stars on the book because the bookmark to the table of contents wouldn't take me there, but it probably is because she forgot to install it. She will take care of that matter so here is another five-star review for a book and an author that deserves it!

This book brings back the tried and true treatment methods for ailments that have plagued people for ages. These natural remedies provide definite results without the dangerous side effects of modern drugs.

Western medicine has become so focus on a "quick fix" that the idea of treating the disease and not just the symptoms has taken a back seat. The side effects from all this "quick fixing up" leaves the person more vulnerable to other ailments.

Slowly people are recognizing that the old natural methods are far better and safer than the harsh chemicals that medical technology currently provide.

The author provides easy to follow instructions on how to use these natural remedies, precautions for the various remedies and the blending as well as their applications.

This book can be used for the whole family since there is relevant information applicable to children.
