We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:9-12

vision

OUR VISION:

STUDENTS WHO LIVE WITH PURPOSE AND LEAD WITH INTENT FOR GOD’S GLORY ALONE

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

WE VALUE BIBLICAL TRUTH

“Biblical truth is our most esteemed and enduring core value because it reveals the person and work of Jesus Christ, culminating in and hinging upon His resurrection, which is the foundation of our faith. Because the Bible is God’s infallible Word, its truth is integrated throughout all arenas at Fellowship Christian School.” Dr. Kathryn M. Teston Head of School

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

2 Timothy 3:16

“The teacher becomes a student of his students

WE VALUE INTENTIONALITY

“Intentional teaching leaves no part of the education process unaddressed or undervalued. This means the teacher becomes a student of his students, learning the joys, commitments, challenges, and fears of his students in order to bring the most relevant, immersive learning to the table each day. It is about showing one’s students that you are willing to be the hardest working person in the room, and this is on display in every element—from the quality of the lesson to the sincerity of the relationships and even to the timeliness of one’s feedback. On the whole, an intentional teacher brings quality to the entire process, knowing that a student’s level of respect for his teacher has a direct impact on what that student is able to learn and achieve.”

Ryan Walter Middle School Faculty

WE VALUE RELATIONSHIP

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; Philippians 2:3

“Relationship is a catalyst for the transformative power that God displays at Fellowship. When I was a student here, the faculty and staff poured into me and impacted my life in such a meaningful way. Back then I knew it was special and unique, but now as a staff member I see all that was behind those personal connections. Fellowship has a culture that values every heart and labors purposefully and intentionally to cultivate meaningful relationships for the good of the students and the glory of God. Jimmy Stainback , Class of 2009 High School Faculty, Football Coach

WE VALUE CHARACTER

“People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

“Character, to me, is simply knowing what is best and choosing to do so. When nobody is looking and eyes are not on you, what are you going to do? Your character will be tested in hard moments, so you must make your mind up now that you will stand strong and simply do the right thing. Cameron Gill Class of 2019

Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men, knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24

WE VALUE STEWARDSHIP Stewardship is the careful management of what God has entrusted to our care. At Fellowship, we recognize that we are blessed with opportunities, relationships, and resources–a role we treasure soberly and joyfully. With great delight, we take responsibility to steward well all that God has given us.

Covenant

Fellowship is one of the few covenant Christian schools in metro Atlanta. As a community of believers, our covenant is the foundation of all we do. It’s the promise—and pledge—made by and between parents, leadership, and staff, affirming our personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and committing to live and teach by His example. It’s why you’ll see (and hear) a Biblical worldview integrated in every course, program, extracurricular, and service opportunity we offer. And, more importantly, why you’ll experience it firsthand—in the actions and attitudes of our students faculty & staff, and families.

Fellowship Fellowship is a is a place to place to believe, believe, to to belong, and belong and to become. to become.

This is a place to

believe

in Jesus, His word and His plan for us;

A place to

belong

connected by faith, friendship, purpose, possibility;

A place to

become

the learners and leaders we were each created to be.

“My time at Fellowship taught me about the value of community, and the importance of having someone in my corner to challenge and encourage me. At Fellowship, I knew that there were always teachers who were eager to listen to my issues, and give me solid advice rooted in scripture and truth. As I’ve gone through college and into the professional world, I have learned again and again how rare and special those experiences are, and have grown even more thankful for my time at Fellowship.” Maggie Jones Class of 2011

We Provide Thoughtful Opportunity

Intentional curricula, tailored teaching & student-centered approaches.

Fellowship Christian School is the metro-Atlanta covenant Christian school known for an experience of felt belonging & thoughtful opportunity.

“We know that the God we serve is incredibly intentional in how He created and nurtures the world and us, prompting our desire to reflect that part of His character well. From the development of our curriculum, to creation of our physical spaces, and the authenticity with which we foster relationships, we provide thoughtful opportunities in order to impact our local and global community for God’s glory.” Dr. Joseph Morecraft Assistant Head of School

Fellowship embodies how we learn, how we live, and how we lead: As a vibrant school community. Through relationships, connections, and conversations. With respect and accountability. By leading with love and following our faith. In Christian service to our neighbors at home and afar. This exceptional spirit of Fellowship is what sets us apart, and brings us together. It empowers us to offer a complete, preparatory, and personal Pre-K to 12th grade education with intentional diploma tracks, specialized academic enrichment and support programs, and a 100 percent college acceptance rate-all in a place where students can truly belong.

ACADEMICS watch us soar

Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 2017-18 Junior class visits the Martin Luther King Jr. Center as part of our commitment to encourage students to grow on purpose, rooted in faith.

ARTS

we play to learn

Experience, understanding, and appreciation of the arts are essential to meaningful learning and a meaningful life. Fellowship seeks to ignite, sustain, and expand the creative soul in every student. That’s why our extensive, award-winning arts programming begins in Pre-K and continues all the way to graduation. We offer a broad spectrum of studies in dedicated, professionally-equipped studio spaces-including music, performing arts, visual and digital arts, and broadcasting-as well as an Artisan Diploma Track. Here, students can not only explore their creative passions and talents, but also intentionally pursue their craft as the foundation of a future career or a lifelong calling.

The STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) study God’s truths at work-within our bodies, our universe, and our ever-changing, ever-connected lives. Our STEM program prepares students to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by an increasingly digital world through hands-on, project-based learning in our innovative STEM lab and in real life. It also prepares our students to positively impact these fields-and the world-as they build on their Fellowship foundation through future STEM studies and careers of their own.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

STEM Great minds think. Period.

ATHLETICS together, we shine

The playing field is a powerful place to build character, deepen faith, and learn life’s lessons. At Fellowship, the physical and mental challenges and rewards of playing sports are a complement, not a contrast, to classroom learning. Whether team, individual, or intramural, our competitive athletic programs value and teach Christ-like character by applying sound biblical principles to physical competition. In athletics, as in all we do, our talents, skills, and strengths are testaments to God’s love and work.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

Hebrews 12: 11

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. Jeremiah 1:5

S PECIAL PROGRAMS

led by love

We all learn differently, but we can all learn together. As a school and a community, Fellowship exists to provide all students with the space and support they need to strengthen their faith, their minds, and their bodies. We offer intentional, individualized programming, assistance, and accommodations at every grade level, so students in the same family with differing needs can learn at their pace, all in one place. Our Edison and Endeavor programs were specifically created to empower academic success according to students’ unique needs, from temporary assistance during illness or injury, to on-campus tutoring, to ongoing learning-style and remediation support.

LIVING ON MISSION, AT HOME & AWAY “I went on my first mission trip to the Dominican Republic my freshman year. I was nervous about going out of the country for the first time and about the language barrier, but God revealed so much joy and purpose in my being there. God blessed our team in a mighty way and many Dominicans came to know the Lord in November 2016. After my first trip, God revealed to me that my passion is to serve Him and to serve His people. God has blessed me with numerous opportunities to serve at FCS and as a small group leader at my church. Serving others has been a huge part of my high school experience and I find it important because Jesus calls us believers to GO into the world and make disciples. Since my first trip over Thanksgiving 2016, the Operation MATT team had begun working on a church in the village of Los Arroces in Bonao. On my last trip over spring break 2018, the church was FINISHED and the wonderful people of Los Arroces gather there to praise God every Sunday. Seeing the progress in Los Arroces over these two years has meant the world to me, and it reminds me of how faithful God is and how God continues to bless the Dominicans tremendously. Our Director of Missions always says that our goal is to make Jesus famous in the Dominican Republic, and I’m honored to be a part of that with missions at FCS.”

Lindsey Eubanks, Class of 2020
