Skærtoft Mølle (Skaertoft Mill) lies on the east coast of the island, Als, just a 15 minute drive from Sønderborg and a 45 min drive from the German border. Trains (www.dsb.dk) come straight from Copenhagen to Sønderborg, a taxi will take you the remaining 17 km. You can fly from Copenhagen to Sønderborg (www.dat.dk), the airport is 15 km from Skærtoft, so again - a taxi will get you here.
