Karen Williams

Karen is the Director of NHP Academy, Inc. in Gastonia, North Carolina, a non-profit training program designed to nurture young women for the next level in life. This program partners with social agenies and school systems to build self-esteem in struggling teens. She is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a BA degree in communications. She is a workshop presenter and gifted psalmist. She co-hosted a radio talk show program called “Sistas’ Let’s Talk About It” which launched an audio book called “Build Up Yo Man” designed for women to empower their sons, husbands, and significant others. She is married to Pastor David A. Williams of Pleasant Ridge AME Zion Church in Gastonia, NC and together they have two children, Karian and David II.
