Message from Mr Fletcher

A big well done to all Year 11 who are really working hard as we approach the GCSE exam season. The reality is there are only 48 school days before the exams begin so it is really crucial students remain focussed over the next few weeks.

Interventions

Morning interventions in Maths, English and Science are still ongoing and these sessions take place between 8.30-9.00am Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays so it is imperative students are in school on time.

In addition, there are after school interventions taking place and students will have been invited to those sessions. Again, all this extra tutoring is so important over the coming weeks.

Year 11 Prom

The Year 11 Prom will take place at Woolston Manor on Tuesday 27th June at 7.00pm. A letter will be distributed shortly outlining the details and payment will be via parent pay.

Please be aware that attendance at our prom is still subject to student's behaviour, punctuality and attendance at school. Of course we want everyone to be able to attend, however, the evening is a privilege so should behaviour be poor, attendance at the prom will be jeopardised.

RVHS GCSE Microsite Revision Site

The school has a dedicated GCSE revision microsite that has an enormous amount of revision material that students can access to support their revision. Students have been informed of this on numerous occasions but parents may also like to be aware.

Have a great weekend – Mr Fletcher
