Last weekend, we took 18 Year 9 students to Manchester to watch Manchester City play Wolves; and what a game it was. A hattrick was scored by Haaland to seal the 3-0 victory. We had pitch side seats which proved to be an amazing view of all the action. Alongside the game, we visited the National Football Museum, toured Old Trafford Stadium and visited the Manchester United Museum. We also did a spot of shopping at the ginormous Trafford Centre and enjoyed a game of bowling and Pizza Hut buffet. A very busy weekend full of fun footballing activities. The students thoroughly enjoyed all the different aspects of the trip and represented RVHS so wonderfully well.

The Imperial War Museum Trip

This week some of our Year 9 students took a trip to the Imperial War Museum.

The Students had an opportunity to gain an insight into the holocaust and much more

Year 11 Road Safety

On Monday 16th January, Year 11 were given a very powerful message about the dangers of drink or drug driving. It not only focused on being a passenger in these circumstances but being a new driver too. The drama, 'Dead End' was followed by a debrief session where students were encouraged to discuss the scenario. The drama was engaging, and despite its serious message there were moments of light-heartedness

Our students were a fantastic and attentive audience, participating where required.

It can be hoped that they remember this powerful message as they embark on their own personal journeys.
