Johnson City Senior Center Foundation - Who Are We? The Johnson City Senior Center Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization administered by a group of volunteers appointed by City Commission. The Foundation’s goal is to support the needs of individuals over 55 who reside in Washington, Sullivan, Carter and Unicoi counties. Our approach is twofold and includes supporting seniors who utilize the Johnson City Senior Center by either subsidizing critical programs such as the healthcare coordinator; funding transport for cultural activities outside of the Tri-Cities area; and providing support through the center’s fellowship program and our Christmas Box project. The fellowship program provides financial support to low income individuals which allows them to participate in activities at the Johnson City Senior Center at greatly reduced costs. The Christmas Box project provides food, household products and personal hygiene items to low income seniors and their families each year. Check out our website for more information: www.JCSCFoundation.org.
