Students stand in a circle and each take a game card. The first students starts by reading their card “I have aren’t, who has do not?” The students with the “don’t” contraction answers, “I have don’t, who has could not?” Play continues until every student has found their match.

Making Predictions story.

Students view a series of pictures taken from an online story. They make predictions about what the story will be about. Students read the online story to find out if their predictions were right.
