This collection covers the activities of students from the advanced program in architecture (KTT) of the Hanoi Architecture University and Chulalongkom University’s architecture program during an architecture workshop scheduled which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 10, 2022. This yearly event demonstrates the cooperation and sharing of experiences between students from the two institutions in general and architecture students in particular.
Tuyển tập này giới thiệu các hoạt động của sinh viên chương trình tiên tiến ngành kiến trúc (KTT) trường ĐH Kiến trúc HN và sinh viên kiến trúc trường ĐH Chulalongkom trong khuôn khổ workshop kiến trúc diễn ra tại Bangkok (Thái Lan) vào tháng 10/2022. Đây là một hoạt động thường niên thể hiện sự hợp tác, gắn bó và trao đổi kinh nghiệm giữa sinh viên kiến trúc nói riêng và sinh viên giữa 2 trường nói chung.
Introduction
OPEN TO THE WORLD – INTERNATIONAL CONNECTION.
From student development orientations associated with The Institute of International Education and International Cooperation gave KTT students an opportunity to visit and study at Chulalongkom University (Thailand). These activities are part of student development orientations associated with social realities, promoting international exchanges, and aiming to create community-connected experiences in parallel with the curriculum. After six days of arduous work and enthusiasm, students from Chulalongkom and KTT collaborated to construct a workshop held in Thailand. Students have a fantastic opportunity during this time to interact, learn about, and deeply experience a new culture.
In addition to studying, students have the chance to visit Chulalongkon University, observe the educational system of Thailand.
MỞ CỬA THẾ GIỚI – KẾT BẠN QUỐC TẾ
Từ những định hướng phát triển sinh viên gắn liền với thực tiễn xã hội, đẩy mạnh giao lưu quốc tế và nhằm tạo ra các trải nghiệm gắn kết cộng đồng song song với chương trình giảng dạy, Viện ĐT&HTQT đã tổ chức cho các bạn sinh viên KTT chuyến đi tham quan, học tập và trải nghiệm tại trường ĐH Chulalongkom (Thái Lan).Trải qua 6 ngày làm việc chăm chỉ và đầy nhiệt huyết, sinh viên KTT cùng sinh viên nước bạn tham gia thiết kế….. Workshop kiến trúc tại Thái Lan lần này là một cơ hội tuyệt vời giúp sinh viên được giao lưu, học tập và trải nghiệm một nền văn hóa mới sâu sắc.
Không chỉ học tập, các bạn sinh viên còn được tham quan trường ĐH Chulalongkon, được trải nghiệm môi trường học tập của nước bạn.
The trip spread positive cultural values of Vietnam and Thailand. The success of these initiatives will have significant meaning and value as well as create a wealth of future collaboration prospects for the mutual advancement of the two universities.
Chuyến đi lan tỏa các giá trị tốt đẹp về văn hóa Việt Nam và Thái Lan. Thành công của các hoạt động này sẽ mang lại nhiều ý nghĩa, giá trị to lớn và mở ra nhiều cơ hội hợp tác trong tương lai cho sự phát triển toàn diện giữa hai trường.
I. Workshop
Bon Kai social housing is a group of high-density welfare apartments located just east of the ONE BANGKOK. The concrete modern housing was built since 1975 to serve low-income workers that need accommodation in the city center. Because they were built next to BON-KAI urban slum, the housing has a lot of problems in terms of social environment, hygienic and living quality.
The students was divided into 10 groups incliding Vietnam and Thai students in every group.
The final product will be sketches illustrating creative ideas of each group (CU + HAU students).
THEME: New BON-KAI social housing project
This project challenges participants to find new solutions for BONKAI housing that can still accommodate low income residents with better quality of life, and can also solve the problem of Bangkok’s food-chain carbon footprint. The urban farm concept could be addressed to help the issues by creating new green environment, while generating extra income for habitants. The other aim of the project is also looking for the by-product of the design that can help reducing carbon footprint from Bangkok food-supplies transportation.

III. Other activities
