Why do we Pray?
Prayer (salah) is one of the five pillars of Islam. Muslims pray to get closer to Allah and to remember Him. It is also to thank Allah, Who gives us everything that we need.

Prayer Times
Muslims pray five times a day. The prayer times are at dawn (Fajr), after midday (Zuhr), in the afternoon (Asr), after sunset (Maghrib) and at night before bed (Isha). Look outside. What prayer time is it now?

Call to Prayer
Before you go to do something special, you are first invited. We are invited to pray by the call to prayer (adhan). The one who calls out the adhan is called a muezzin. When you hear the adhan, can you repeat it with the muezzin?
