Washing the Arms
We’ve washed our hands, mouth, nose and face. Now, we roll up our sleeves and wash our arms. Start with the right arm. Wash it from the wrist to the elbow three times. Next, we wash the left arm three times.

What is Wudu?

Muslims pray five times a day. Before they pray there is a very important step: to make wudu! Wudu (ablution) is a special way for Muslims to clean themselves for prayer (salah). It washes away dirt and any unclean thoughts.
I’ve taken Sara home to make wudu. I’ve taken Bilal to the mosque to make wudu.
Niyyah for Wudu
Before we start to wash it is important to say, “Bismillah”. Bismillah means “in the name of Allah”. Now let’s make an intention (niyyah). In our head and heart we say, “I intend to make wudu for Allah.”
