Stockholm's castle I'm standing in front of Stockholm castle. The castle is situated at Mynttorget in Stockholm. It was built in 1200. The castle is very old and it looks very beautiful. ! When I look at the castle, it looks so vast. ! The colours of the castle are brown and green.! Sweden's flag is on the front side of the castle.!

There is a big garden inside the castle, it's in front of the water. !

In 1754 the king Adolf Fredrik and the queen Lovisa Ulrika moved to the castle. They were the first people who lived there.!

/

The castle has 605 rooms. In some of them Karl XVI Gustav is working.!

Many tourists visit the castle. 45 soldiers are guarding the castle 24 hours to protect it.!

Big square big thoughts /

After I had walked through the narrow streets I ended up in an open square surrounded by colourful buildings. In front of me was the Nobel museums, and while I was the museum I heard voices that made me turn around. What I saw was happy people who created an incredible atmosphere in the square. It made me think that everyone had forgotten the carnage. The terrible carnage that cost several hundred Swedish people's life. It's hard to imagine that it was here, right here Kristian Tyrann committed that carnage against high-ranking Swedish leaders through hanging and beheading. After coming back from that awful flashback about the carnage,I got a lump in my throat.Just imagine how someone could have a party for the people he was planning to kill. I continued to walk to the middle of the square , and when I looked around I saw Bรถrshuset,Grillilskahuset and Seyfridiskahuset. I looked at the well which is in the middle of the square. Then I looked at the square one last time, I turned around and walked away from the square thinking something can still be beautiful even if it has experienced a terrible accident.

The city hall The Stockholm city hall is one of Sweden's most famous buildings, it's a very big building in the centre of Stockholm on the island of Kungsholmen. This building is world wide famous because of the Nobel prize on the 10 December each year. It's a very beautiful building, it has a brownish colour and there's some turrets and towers, many windows, the colour of the roof is greenish and made of copper. The highest tower has got three crowns on the top which is the symbol of Stockholm.

/

I have visited this building with my class on a guided tour. The guide showed us different halls. We were even told about how the city hall is built and we saw many different halls. There was a hall that was made of gold, it was one of the coolest things I have seen in the city hall. when we went in to the building the first thing we saw was a big hall and it's where the Nobel prizes are handed out. It's possible that they can have a concerts in this big hall. After we hade seen this hall we went up the stairs to see a food table where the King, the Queen and some other important guests eat the dinner after the Nobel prize party. If you want more information you visit their website.

From Stockholm ! Dear Samuel! / How are you doing my friend? I hope you are doing well./ let me introduce you to Stockholm the city which i live in. Stockholm is the capital city of Sweden- a country in Europe. When I first came to Stockholm, it was a winter and the weather was extremely cold. At that time I saw the snow for the first time in my life. The snow was falling slowly from sky and when I felt in my hand it was soft and cold I thought it was sugar hahah, by the way after three weeks I registered and started school in Hässelbygårdskolan as preparatory class and introduction to Swedish. As a new comer to Sweden I was impressed by the school and it was my first experience in Sweden as a student. The school is well built and has students from different nationalities. Our teachers were calm and always tried to help us to overcome the obstacles we have as beginners. What surprised me the most was that a teacher is forbidden to beat a student in the class room. From my previous experience in my home country this is new to me. I like and enjoy this rule, I wish this kind of rule would be implemented in my country as soon as possible. /

/

In summer the weather is completely different, because it is sunny and the ground is covered in green plants. One day I went with my family to Gröna Lund the park where kids can play with different play materials. It was my first time in such a place, but I really liked it. I enjoed it with enormous fun and joy. / From Me!h

Gamla stan I'm coming out from the underground railway, it's called tunnelbana in Swedish. Me and Isabelle , my best friend is very impressed by the old town's views, but that's just beginning. It's warm and beautiful and there are a lot of people who are going around with food bags and stuff like this. I see children , they are running around and playing witch eachother. We have just one day to see the whole old town I hope we have enough of time to see it all. We have also today and tomorrow night we're going to London again. We have booked a guide to se the royal palace so we are going there right now. That's gonna be fun. The royal palace is so big ! It has 600 rooms, and it's so beautiful. Me and Isabelle got a lot of information about the castle an example is that in 1754 the king Adolf Fredrik and the queen Lovisa Ulrika were the first couple that moved into the royal palace and lived there. But that's enough of the royal castle, now we are going to the hotel because we are so tired and need to sleep. The Collector hotel is so beautiful and the people are so nice to us. The food is delicious ! I wanna stay here forever, but I can't. But we're going to sleep now , goodnight! We'll go to the swimming pool called Storkyrkobadet In old town. 50 minutes later we are on place, it's so fun , it's beautiful, they are have tubes here ! I meet a boy he is so nice to us , I gave him my mobile number so he can call me someday. We are ready and go out now . It's a very very small road here , it's called M책rten Trotzigs Gr채nd and it's so amazing ! I have never seen so small road like this before. But time are out now and we are going home now , I'm so sad , it's so amazing here! I'll come here someday , maybe in one year.

Love at Hornssbergsstrand !

I'm going to tell you guys a love story that unfolds on the beach in Kristineberg, called Hornsbergsstrand.! I'm writing about this place because it's a special place for me. I spent my whole summer holiday there and I created many beautiful memories there.!

/

The beach is gigantic and there are so many people who come here to go swimming and sunbathing or they come here to eat or just meet new people. In the street in front of the beach there are restaurants and bars. I think that it feels like you are in a another country there. The beach is long and you can walk around it, the grass is green and the sun is always shining. !

/

Anyway one day, a beautiful girl called Paulina went to the beach with her friends. It was the first time she visited Hornsbergsstrand, also called Horns. All of her friends had told her to came there many times but she had never got around to it. She really liked the place when she saw it.!

/

Paulina and her friends were sunbathing and went for quick dips. Suddenly a boy came up to Paulina and started to talk to her. She became very shy and couldn't even answer his questions. Paulina had always been that little shy, silent girl who doesn't dare to get to know people. The boy's name was Jake and Paulina found out that he was cute and even more sweet because he started to talk only with her. They couldn't stop talking and Paulina slowly started to fall in love with him. Jake took her hand and they started to walk towards the water. He pushed her into the water and they had a lot of fun together. Paulina's friends saw her and the beautiful boy and they started to shout.!

/

Right before Paulina was going home Jake stopped her. He asked her if she could give him her number and she gave it before she even had time to think about it. On her way home she was thinking about him. Is he going to call her or not? Later that night her phone finally rang. It was Jake. They talked and talked and they never stopped and after the phone call they knew each other much better. They planned to meet in Hornsbergsstrand tomorrow again. ! Before Paulina went there she made herself look extra beautiful. When she arrived Jake was running to her and suddenly gave her a big, long and soft kiss. After that she thought they were together. Paulina was very happy now and didn't ask for anything else.!

The ghosts at Hässelby slott

!

Once upon a time there were two brothers. These two brothers loved to play/ outdoors and one day, as it was getting on into evening,/ they wandered into a graveyard and met another little boy who wanted to/ play with them./ So, they played with the boy for a while and eventually the little boy/ asked if the brothers would like to see the castle./

/

The brothers agreed to go with him and off they went following behind the/ little boy.The boy took them to a castle in the middle of the graveyard and/ took them inside to a room with big mirrors on one wall./ “Follow me,” said the boy. “Let me show you where I live.” At that, he/ stepped through the mirror and into the/ castle on the other side and disappeared around a corner. The two brothers/ shared a concerned look, but in the end stepped into the mirror and came/ out to the other side. The castle they had been brought to at first seemed like/ abandoned for years, and this castle felt and looked as it/ was inhabited./

/

They walked out of the bedroom and after a time found themselves in a/ dinning room with a table set for many people and food laid out like a/ feast. At that table sat a number of dressed up adults. Some in very fine clothes or/ dresses, all enjoying the feast and each others' company./ The brothers tried to ask the person nearest them what the occasion of the/ feast was ,but the person ignored them. / In fact, when one of the brothers tried to pull the arm of one of the adults, and he found that his hand went right through it./ They tried with everyone at the table but no one answered/ them./

/

After hours of walking around and trying to get attention, the little boy/ that had taken them there found them again. “It’s time for me to take you/ back,” he said./ And he took the brothers back to the bedroom with the mirror and walked/ through it with them. On the other side, the castle was the abandoned / one that they had first entered and the child led them back / through the graveyard to the place where they had been playing./ The two brothers went home to their parents, and told them about the little boy and the graveyard and the castle./ Their parents become curious and the two boys took their parents to the castle./ But there was nothing left, not the cemetery where they played, not the castle, nothing was left. Everything was gone. It had just disappeared./

The pale boy! /Kim was a small boy in the age of 12 living near by Stortorget in Stockholm. Kim wasn't a very popular kid becausehe had moved recently and was new in the nebourhood. He used to take a walk in the middle of the night. He wasn't scared of the darkness but he was scared of the knowledge of not knowing what to do. /

/One night when he was taking a walk in the old city, He was walking on the

old narrow streets that seemed to be closing him in. this was the first time that he was insecure while taking a walk. He entered a big square called stortorget with grand buildings and a huge well that was squeaking and sounding like a screaming chicken. When Kim was waking towards the well a boy appeared infront of him. He was a small pale boy and he had a cut on his throat. He presented himself as Gustav he said that he was lost but Kim didn't believe in him because he had old looking clothes and he didn't hade shoes on, he believed that someone was trying to scare him. He was to busy looking at the boy so he hadn't noticed the bloodmarks on the ground. Kim looked at Gustav's neck and it was bleeding. The cut was deep, so deep so you could see the snow white inside of it. He asked the pale boy what happend to him. the boy said that he was killed by Danes several years ago. the boy said that he was looking for his mother who was killed in the same moment as him. Km asked him what his mother's name was. He answerd that she was called Cristina Ekendsheld. Kim recognised the name but could not remember where he see n it. He took up his phone and googled it. /

/it was a lady that was related to the king. And she was burried in Storkyrkan

close to him. Kim started to run to Stotrkyrkan to find the grave of Gustav's mother. He was amazed that he could run as fast as he did. He wasn't falling on the old cobbled stone streets. And when he was standing and facing the big brown oak door it suddenly opened and Kim and Gustav entered the gigantic Church. /

/He entered the church and when he was standing in the middlle of the it, he looked down and he noticed that he was standing on the grave, the grave he was looking for. Gustav started to cry red blood that was colouring hos cheeks red. He laid down on the floor and started to disappear. /

/Now I know that you won't believe me when iIam telling you this but if you ever go to Storkyrkan you can see the handprint on the floor.! /written by Mikael 9a./ A ghost story

The history of H채sselby palace I won a night in the castle with one friend and food included.! I chose to take my father with me and then we went by the subway to V채llingby and decided to walk the last bit.! When we arrived at the castle, we were warmly welcomed by an old man who was like pale in the face. He showed us to the room where we were going to sleep.! He went away to prepare the dinner for us while we packed up our things. When I was done I put my empty bag under the bed but it was something strange under my bed.! There were lots of toys in a worn box.! But I did not think much more about it. Later in the evening after we had eaten, I fell asleep when I read a book.!

/ /

SuddenIy I was awakened by a strange noise. When I was sitting up and looked around I saw a toy train and some plastic soldiers crossing the floor. It was the toys I had seen under the bed. But I didn't understand how the toys came out of the box. Then I heard a voice, a voice that said:!

/

-If I could just taste it again, the taste of the food and the the feeling of the sand between my toes. My father is in this house, he gave and took my life. ! The voice repeated again, escape quickly before it's too late!!

/

I was scared and shocked, I ran out of the room and down stairs. There my dad stood with a knife in his hands.! In the mirror beside him I saw an old man's face.!

I live in a house built 1300 in Stockholm. It's a yellow stone house called Papistekyrkan. It happens to a lot of things here, but sometimes not so that you become afraid.

/

For example, a time when I and my family were sitting at the kitchen table and talked about my grandfather who I have never seen, I asked dad if he had a photo of him, and he replied no, he didn't think there was a great picture of Leo as he is now called. I thought nothing more of it, and shortly thereafter, I went to bed. The day after I got up, put on my clothes and went down the stairs, when I saw something that was at the piano in front of the stairs. I went back and checked and it was a small black and white photo of a man. I showed the photo to Dad and he could see that it was Grandpa. He asked where I had found it and I responded on the piano. No one had put a picture of grandfather there. Call it a coincidence, or paranormal, I know that it was Grandpa who visited and wanted his grandchildren to know what he looked like.

/

Another thing that really got the whole family thinking was our big, heavy chandelier in the hall. One day lay it fell down on the floor, leaning against the wall! Mother asked who had taken it down and nobody could say that they had done it. Now, if the lamp had fallen down so it could 1: be a big mark on the floor due to a sharp point at the bottom of the lamp. 2: it wouldn't stand leaning against the wall. The lamp was positioned in the middle of the room. It is the only one I can find. But this time, I do not think that it was Grandpa. I am quite sure that it was a shoemaker-couple who lived on this site before. They had a long trail right where our house is right now as they used to get out of the way.

/

Spirits may be obsessed with lights? From our living room, one can see into the kitchen. I sat one day in the armchair and texted my friend who would come in a few minutes. I turned around, and then I saw the kitchen lamp swing from side to side in cool moves! I was alone in the house. I wrote in a text message to my friend that the kitchen light was swinging by itself and she didn't believe me, but that would soon change. She came through

Love story at Hässelbygårdskolan/

/

Hey, let me tell you about my love story. It started in my school, Hässelbygårdskolan. Hässelbygårdskolan is a boring school and everybody is just mean. It's a big building in Hässelby. The building is yellow with a very big clock./

/

This school is so old and somehow scary. But then, something great happened in this school. I fell in love. I feel in love with the most beautiful girl in the world. She has blue eyes and very blond hair. I thought that she had white hair the first time I saw in Uppan. Uppan is a cafeteria where we hang out. /

/

Everything is perfect. I love her and she loves me but there is one problem. My parents don't want me to be with a girl. They say it is wrong to be a lesbian, and they say that I'm not allowed to see her anymore. /

/

Anyway my girlfriend's name is Lottie. She is 16 years old. Lottie lives with her parents and she doesn't have any siblings. Lottie wants to be a Victoria secret model. That's her dream. /

/

My parents can't do anything about it. If I am lesbian then no one can change that. One day me and Lottie plans to escape from our home. But the same minute I walk out of my house I see my mom. And guess what she said to me. /

/

She was crying and she told me to follow my heart. She said that she was sorry and she wants me to be happy. I was very happy to hear that. /

Julavslutning 2014
