: The similarities and difference of food culture in between Lot 10 Hutong and typical Malaysia non-halah food court.

Research question : What is the similarities and difference of food culture in between Lot 10 Hutong and typical Malaysia non-halah food court. Typical Chinese food court in Malaysia present a very unique kind of food culture that form from many aspect. A typical Chinese food court serves many different kind of non-halah dishes under a single roof and usually all food stalls are clearly visible for the ease of customers and also it act as a business strategy. In the other way, Lot 10 Hutong is mainly inspired by the food culture from in China and not just the layout of the entire food court but most of the dishes are also influence from Fu Jian. The objectives of this research topic is mainly conducted to understand the similarities and differences of the food culture between Lot 10 Hutong and typical Chinese food court. Secondly is to understand the formation of Hutong and how Lot 10 Hutong was influenced by the origin Hutong from China. The major reason to adopt this research topic is to ensure younger generation acknowledge and perceive the legit information about all these culture and history of food they consume daily. Beside than sharing these knowledge, this topic may help younger generation to appreciate, record and preserve the wonderfulness of these food culture and history passed down from many experienced generation before. A very important cause of having this topic is to secure these food culture to keep passing down to the future by taking over by interested and passion youngster. Several methods can be use to strike this topic firmly. Interviews from the people that hold the source and experience and record them down by filing pictures, words information, and also video recording of specific detail on how it is conducted. Second method is to observe and self analyze from the culture. Analysis of the relationship on how and why the food culture is form and related to each other. The last method to aid on this research is use the help of internet where most source of information can be found and reviews from all over the world can be seen but filters or self analyze of relevant information may be important due to inaccurate information on the screen sometimes. The expected outcome will be pieces of illustration and drawing with annotation beside. Drawings will be manually down most probably as to capture the essence of the culture, food and also to highlight the points that is important to show in order to help reader understand clearly.
