Hairy Bastard's kitchen. The Hairy Bastard loves chili and a barbeque. This month's recipe combines both!
Barstardo chili dogs. Combine a can of Stag chili and some cheese in a bowl.Heat until the cheese is bubbling, stir and heat for another minute or two. Take a hot dog roll, cut it and grill until crispy inside. Meanwhile, take a Kransky or sausage (whatever floats your boat.) cut lightly across the skin and grill or BBQ until sizzling fat appears.Flip and cook for another minute or so. When dripping, smack the Kransky or sausage into the roll, top with the chili cheese mix and more cheese. If, like the Hairy Bastard, you like a bit more punch, add some Tabasco or similar. Enjoy!!!!
Lily, the HQ sedan. Hi, My name is Emma Buckley and I?m 20 years old. I was born and bred (and probably die...lol) in Brisbane.I own a 1972 HQ Kingswood that is currently in the middle of a ground up restoration. I got the HQ 601 days ago when I asked my dad if I could restore a car.He chuckled and asked me if I was up for that challenge with the work that has to be done and the money that has to be spent (Always listen to your parent?s kids because they are ALWAYS right? . Well at least mine are - as much as that kills me to say ) My love for HQs started when I was reallllllly little. My dad had multiple HQ?s but my favourite was his white one. I guess as a kid I was always around my dad growing up with trucks, cars, and dirt bikes. I spent most of my childhood weekends with my mum on the sidelines of the speedway pits and track or out in the middle of nowhere watching dad race off-road racing. I asked to be the navigator when Dad was racing off road but I had to be 14 which sucked. I raced BMX and like to go fast so I guess growing up with revhead parents that this sort of project was a given? .

Piston Steel Shakedown. This amazing group of car lovers, lead by the amazing Bruce Frazer and his daughter Loretta has raised well over $20,000 for charities such as the Royal Children's Hospital, the CFA, Animal Aid, Breast Cancer Awareness and Ronald Mc Donald House. If that wasn't awesome enough, they have also held car shows & cruises for some very gifted children and have Shannons on board as a sponsor!!! We here at KKL are proud to include some pics from their last charity show, courtesy of Raid Photography.
