Following the huge success of hosting over 200 golfers in our two 2024 Fiji tournaments when ‘The Olympics’ was our theme – we are now opening entries for 2025 with early bird offers for both tournaments. Book and pay your deposit for six nights before the 17th of November and get a seventh night free! Yes, more great time in the sun!
And 2025 looks to be even more special. For the girl’s tournament in 2025, we will mark our 21st anniversary of the Denarau Women’s Golf Classic. This is a significant milestone marking two decades of bringing women together, celebrating our golfing journeys and our commitment to having fun in the sun!
Back in 2003 we started with only 11 entries – this grew to 36 then 100+ in subsequent years. The Denarau Women’s Golf Classic is now a regular sell out and has a return rate of over 80%. It’s been 20 years of wonderful memories – thank you for all your support, friendship, giving us thousands of souvenir photos and countless wild stories to tell in our later years!
We invite back all past players, past champions and, if you are a ‘‘newbie’, invite your best golfing buddy and come away to Fiji and help us celebrate our 21st Party.
Stay on for the second week, and join up with your husband, partner or other golfing mates and play in the ‘Best Teams Event in the Pacific’! This will be the 25th annual staging of the Villa Teams Challenge which started in 2000. Teams of four compete over four days in a modified stableford system – make up your own team – or we can team you up.
In partnership with the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort both tournaments are six days of fun and competitive golf, playing four rounds in carts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Wednesday is a rest day when you can relax by the pool or enjoy playing more golf on the Natadola Bay Course.
The extensive social programme is packed with activities including welcome, midway and farewell functions, all with drinks included. There is a sumptuous 2-course lunch at the golf clubhouse Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with a ‘lunch on the go’ on Friday at each tournament. All the while staying by the beach in 5-star luxury in your choice of the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort or Sheraton Fiji Villas.
The Sheraton has spent millions transforming their Denarau Island property and is continuing to do so with on-going development and investment in the nearby Westin, a massive refurbishment programme (due to be open late 2025). The result is stunning, a fresh, modern Pacific feel that reflects their new brand vision as “The World’s Gathering Place.”
And, as in the past, each tournament has a ‘theme’ which will be announced in March 2024.

In conjunction with the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort we are proud to be hosting our two long-standing golf tournaments – the Sheraton Fiji Denarau Women’s Golf Classic (Sunday 14 September – Friday 19 September) and the Sheraton Fiji Villa Teams Challenge (Sunday 21 September – Friday 26 September 2025).
In 2022, The Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort re-opened after spending more than $73 million on a renovation of the hotel and similar amounts are currently being spent on upgrading The Westin due to re-open in 2025.
For those joining PaR nz Golfing Holidays for the first time at the Sheraton, the resort offers 300 rooms which feature modern, sophisticated and premium interior designs with a

The Golf Tournaments
The Denarau Women’s Golf Classic is a women’s pairs tournament, open to all ages and with a maximum course handicap limit of 36. The three official rounds of the Denarau Women’s Golf Classic will be hosted on the Denarau Golf Course playing Foursomes, 4BBB and Combined Stableford formats. The opening day is a fun teams Ambrose Format.
Daily fun prizes are awarded as well for the overall winners. Maximum handicap 36.
The Villa Teams Challenge is a 4-person team competition. You can make your team up with any combination of men and / or women. If you don’t have a team, we can find you one. Maximum course starting handicaps apply, 28 for men and 36 for women. The competition is played over four rounds where each player’s daily score contributes to the overall team score. Points are scored under the PaR nz Points System™. We have a great prize table where team winners are awarded trophies and prizes at the farewell dinner.
