By using framework as for aesthetical purposes, it can also serve functional purposes. For example, the framing over the exterior of a building to control light and heat, while also adding visual interest. Balconies or cantilevered structures can also be used to provide shade or additional outdoor living space.

After researching how bricks could inspire my building with overlapping and overhanging ledges, I concluded some framework was necessaryfor structural and aesthetical reasons

Model 5

In this model I used stacked geometric shapes and decided to incorporate stain glass window pieces into the model. This was inspired by the colour and form of my crystal research. the clear pale colours looked a lot like glass, and I thought it was be nice to incorporate some colour since I have only used a neutral colour pallet.
