letter from the editor Clash magazine is dedicated to collaborating with artists from many different backgrounds and skills to create beautiful works of art. Art is everywhere and emitting from everyone around the environment. The creative mixing of photographers, designers, painters and illustrators is what makes art new and exciting in a contemporary era. From the start of an initial idea to the final creation, the journey is an important part of the inspiration and an overall learning process. I found that making mistakes is the best learning tool in life. It’s important to learn from our errors and try not to repeat it in the future. Surrounded by artists and designers at an art school, I find beauty all around me and felt the need to collaborate with friends to create this piece. From photographers to designers, models and painters, art is created through the mix of different medias and inspirations. Be inspired by those that surround you. kristopher dobbins Currently a Sophomore at Savannah College of Art and Design, Kris is a photo major from Dallas, Texas. He loves shooting portraits and fashion shoots. He received Most Outstanding in Photography at Kilgore College in 2013 and has won other awards for his portfolio, journalism and excellence. Kris exhibited his work in Times Square, New York for the #CreativesRising digital exhibition and photo galleries in Texas.
carmen osorio lugo Senior fashion student, Carmen is creating her final senior collection at SCAD this year. She is preparing four years of culminative work to represent her aesthetic and style into her work. Social awareness is a major theme for her collection and was inspired by the people who built New York City. Carmen is among the many hopefuls dreaming to have her collection represented in the 2015 SCAD Fashion Show. At the age of 21, she has many accomplishments and awards from winning CFDA design competitions and YMA scholarship funds. Growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, she is a hardworking individual and takes nothing for granted. Her designs convey her strength and determination to strive towards her goal of receiving a spot in the SCAD Fashion Show.

taylour oney Taylour is a junior photography major at Savannah College of Art and Design. Born in Fort Myers, Florida, Taylour loves taking photos on the beach of her friends. She captures moments in time with her camera and looks through for beauty through her lens.
~ jasmin pena Jasmin is a metals and jewelry major at Savannah College of Art and Design. She created organic shelllike necklaces for her senior collection. Jasmin is from New Jersey and has worked alongside Council of Fashion Designers from America jewelry designer, Marc Alary. Jasmin also assists in production for menswear shows

becky bungarz Becky is a senior accessory major and is currently creating her final collection. She was inspired by old photographs of her grandparents. Becky photo transferred the photos onto the canvas fabric for her shoes. Her shoes include tassels and lace-tie-ups with wooden heels.
erin williams Erin is an accessory designer and created vibrant handbags for her senior collection. She feels very close to every piece she makes and even names them after old men as a joke. For her handbags photographed, she created layered fabrics and colors that are vibrant and fun. Erin used lots textures, leathers, rabbit furs, lace and tweed for her handbags.
charlotte walters Charlotte is a senior accessory design major at Savannah College of Art and Design. She is currently creating her senior collection of handbags. She uses lots of leathers and embellishing by using plexi glass that mimics fringe. Charlotte creates fun and feminine handbags while staying fashion forward with geometric shapes.

corrine andrews Photographer and photo assistant, Corinne who also goes by Cori, has worked with the industry’s well-known photographers and magazines. Cori continues to work with Udo Spreitzenbarth who has photographed Tyra Banks, Hannah Davis and Meg Ryan. She also worked with Z!NK magazine, organizing and assisting photo shoots. Cori has interned for Hearst magazines and has assisted on shoots for Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar. She specializes in product and lighting studio shoots. Growing up outside of Manhattan, in Madison, New Jersey, she frequents the city and hopes to gain industry experience and start her own photography business.
collette flowers Collette has traveled the world and now resides in Savannah, Georgia. She is learning graphic design at Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as advertising. She dabbles in the arts and loves to paint canvas’ as well as bodies for this photo shoot. Collette creates vibrant text and logos along with abstract pieces when she paints. From Dallas, Texas, Collette enjoys being creative and designing branding for local companies.
