In Italy this entails, especially for the population made up of young people and foreigners who are the last to enter the world of work, an economic and social vulnerability that affects socio-cultural marginalization, also due to urban policies sensitive only to market interests.
This thesis, therefore, aims at the search for new spaces that combine life and work, creating opportunities and limiting the fragility of their inhabitants. The architectural response to research is summarized in Productive Affordable Housing, an environment designed for the profiles of the most vulnerable people, which offers them the possibility of obtaining an economically accessible living space and multifunctional, flexible and innovative workspaces.
