sitting flat against your chest
4 The bra fits snug right
underneath your bust
5 The cup does not cut or press into the bust leaving a bulge
6 The bra is level around your body
Step 1 Step 1: Take it easy Adjust the straps to their maximum length. It makes the fitting much easier. Step 4: Everything in the right place With your hand, reach into the cup and bring forward any breast tissue into the cup. Your breast should be lifted up into the cup with your nipple centred into the deepest part of the cup.

Step 3: Hook up Reach around your back, pulling the band down, to close the bra.

Step 5: Shake it! Bend over, hold the bra at the sides and shake your breasts into the perfect position. www.Lace-lingerie.com
Step 6: The role of the straps Adjust the straps, but keep in mind they should sit comfortably on your shoulders. The back band is where most of the support comes from and will carry 80% of the weight of your bust. www.Lace-lingerie.com
Band riding up With a too loose back band, the bust does not get the support it needs. Tightening the straps does not solve this problem! When the band is high in the back, your bust will drop in the front and your shoulders will carry the weight of your bust, and you may find that the soft skin on your back is squeezed.
Straighten it up With the band sitting level across your back, you have chosen the correct band size. The band provides around 80% of the support, taking the weight off of the shoulders. A new bra should be comfortably fastened on the loosest hook to allow you to tighten the bra when it stretches and relaxes over many wears.
Cups pressing Check the fit and size of the cups. If your breasts are bulging over the edge of the cups at either the neckline or the underarm, it is an indicator for a too small cup size or unsuitable cup shape. If you wish to have a push-up effect, try a push-up bra and do not get this effect by wearing too small cups.
Well rounded By wearing a well fitting cup size your bust tissue is placed right in the cup and your nipple is at the deepest point in the cup. Take the t-shirt test: there should be a smooth invisible line between the bra and your bust.
Lifting away Is the centre front of your bra resting flat against your body between your breasts? If not, the cups are too small and/or the band size is too loose. Try a larger cup size, or go down in the band size and go up in the cup size.
Perfect fit The perfect bra for you is sitting flat against your chest. Take the test and try to put your fingers between the bra centre front and your chest - you will not get far if you are wearing the right size.
Uncomfortable straps Make sure the straps do not dig into your shoulders. By over-tightening the straps this may make them uncomfortable. If too much weight is on your shoulders it may cause pain and tension in the shoulder and neck area. Loosen the straps to a comfortable pressure, or try a smaller band size.
Well fitting bra In a well fitting bra, your breasts are mainly supported by the back band. The straps should only provide between 10 - 20% of the support. By having the right proportion of support, the straps will sit comfortably on your shoulders without digging in and causing pressure. www.Lace-lingerie.com
