Ladislav Cvetkovski vo svoite digitalni grafiki ja ukinuva fiksiranosta na svoite likovni znaci, ja ukinuva nivnata tematska prepoznatlivost. Namesto, takvata tradicionalna hierarhija i mehani~kiot gest, Cvetkovski vo elektronskiot prostor upotrebuva vizuelna pove}esloevitost, virtuelna deskripcija, kade ~itaweto na samite digitalni kompozicii e pove}e "topografsko", otkolku, tematsko od eden pogled. Blagodarenie na kompjuterskiot operativen metod na obrabotka, Cvetkovski gi pro{iruva grafi~kite znaci vo digitalni nivoa von prostata dimenzija na linearniot tek; gi prodol`uva vo strukturi i ekspresii {to gi presekuvaat tradicionalnite klasifikacii na likovnata grafika. Kreira do`ivuvawa na semanti~ki mre`i, kade linearnosta na zna~enieto se izmestuva vo eden ~ist proces na beskone~ni asocijativni vrski, sozdava transformacii od ni-edna tema koja dominira vrz site ostanati. Namesto prostornoto i direktnoto, tuka imame rabota so mentalnoto i digitalnoto. Se namaluva razlikata me|u avtorot i gleda~ot, me|u vooblikuva~ot i korisnikot, odnosno, se dobiva mo`nost za nivna me|usebna prelociranost vo tolkuvaweto na deloto; delo koe sega stanuva realnost na mentalnite ogledala. Kontrolata vrz samoto do`ivuvawe na digitalnite grafiki na Cvetkovski preminuva vo raznovidna igra. Namesto prepoznatlivite striktni subordinacii i supstituti, ovie grafiki se kombinirano digitalno tkaewe na vizuelnoto, koegzistencija na mno{tvo ednakvo vredni zna~ewa i dvi`ewa. De-spacijalizacija na pogledot od tradicionalniot medium vo ~itaweto za povrzanosta i podvi`nosta na samite elektronski znaci. Negovite grafiki neprekinato proizveduvaat mobilni kodovi, ~ija{to funkcija e da bidat fluidni, "konkretni" vo svojata razli~na sloevitost, da bidat efekti na nesovr{eni linii, da bidat vo dvi`ewe. Fragmentarni formi, zamena i promenlivost na fragmentarnite mesta vo nivnite me|usebni teksturi, strukturalizacija na avtorskite idei vo znakovni mo`nosti {to se vo soglasnost so kompjuterskite "principi", odnosno, so principite na slobodnata protivre~nost i dovolnata pri~ina. Mno{tvo na odnosi i dejstva {to mo`at da se tolkuvaat odvoeni od svoite "zadadeni" elementi. Na toj na~in, ne se menuva samo "prostorot" na tvorewe, tuku, se menuva i na~inot na ~itawe, odnosno, se zdobivame so poinakvi iskustveni modaliteti vo procesot na mentalizacija na vizuelnoto. Deloto na Cvetkovski ne e ve}e vizuelizacija na mislite, tuku rementalizacija na boenite i apstraktni povr{ini, intenzivirawe na metafori~nosta na crte`ot, na segmentiranite kadri i izvle~enite figuracii, voop{to, potencirawe na izmestenata sloboda vo avtorskoto do`ivuvawe na znakovnoto... Vo digitalnite zapisi na Ladislav Cvetkovski dobivame redefinirani relacii so klasi~niot medium, odnosi polni so dvosmislenosti i ambivalencii pome|u gleda~ot i avtorot, dinami~no i monta`no prenesuvawe na privatnite raspolo`enija/vpe~atocite od stvarnosta vo digitalnata procesualnost na znakovnoto. With his digital graphics Ladislav Cvetkovski revokes the stationary nature of his figurative symbols, he revokes their thematic recognisability. In their place, that of the traditional hierarchy and mechanical gesture, Cvetkovski uses the visual multilayeredness of the electronic space, a virtual description in which the very reading of the digital compositions themselves is more ‘topographical’ than thematic from a certain point of view. Thanks to his computerised method of operation, Cvetkovski expands the graphic symbols on the digital level towards a pure linear course; he extends these into structures and expressions that sever the traditional classifications of the graphic print. He creates experiences of semantic networks, where the linearity of their significance moves towards a pure process of endless associative links, creating transformations from no one theme dominating over all the rest. In place of spatial and direct treatment what we have here is mental and digital treatment. The distinction between the artist and the viewer is reduced, as is that between the shaper and the user; that is to say, there is a possibility of their mutual relocation in the interpretation of the work, a work which becomes the reality of mental mirrors. Cvetkovski’s control of the experience of digital graphics itself becomes a varied game. Instead of recognisable strict subordinations and substitutions, these graphics are a combined digital interweaving of a

multiplicity of equally valid meanings and movements, a despatialisation of the view of the traditional medium in the reading of the interlinking and mobility of the electronic signals themselves. His graphics unceasingly produce mobile codes, the function of which is to be fluid, ‘concrete’, in their varying stratification, to be effects of uncompleted lines, to be in motion. The fragmentary forms, their alteration and mutability in the fragmentary places of their combined texture, the structuralisation of the artist’s ideas within the semantic possibilities offered by computer ‘principles’, that is to say the principles of free contradiction and sufficient cause. The multiplicity of relationships and activities that can be interpreted apart from their ‘given’ elements. In this fashion not only is the creative ‘space’ changed but also the method of reading it, that is to say we receive different experiential modalities in the process of our mental reception of the visual. Cvetkovski’s work is no longer the visualisation of thoughts but the mentalisation of the coloured and abstract spaces, an intensification of the metaphoric quality of the drawing, of segmentary shots and the extended figurations as a whole, an emphasis on the dislocated freedom in the artist’s experience of what is signalled… In Ladislav Cvetkovski’s digital transcripts we have redefined relations to the classical medium, relationships full of ambiguity and the ambivalence between the viewer and the artist, a dynamic and montage-like conveying of private moods and impressions from reality in the digital process of signification. LADISLAV CVETKOVSKI was born in Skopje in 1965. In 1990 he graduated from the Department of Graphic Art and Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje in the class of Prof. Dimitar Malidanov. In 2003 he completed the postgraduate studies with the same professor. Ladislav Cvetkovski is engaged in the fields of fine arts and graphic design. He cooperates with the Cinematheque of Macedonia, with the Museum of Contemporary Art, with the Museum of the City of Skopje and with the Art Gallery, as well as with the Macedonian Academy of Arts and Sciences and other institutions and publishing houses in Macedonia. He was engaged in the projects of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, etc. He also designs projects for the UNDP, USAID, OSCE, ICE and other international institutions. He designed of significant monographic editions as: Macedonian Cartoon, Architeture and monumental art in Skopje, The life in Skopje (1918 - 1941), The Republic of Macedonia, Blagoja Cuskov, Icons from the Museum of Macedonia and others. From 1994 to 1999 he worked as a designer at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje, and since 1999 he's been working at the designing studio Skenpoint A. D. Skopje.
