Traditionally,KRC wasprovidedatno costtochildrenages 5to18.In2023,the programexpanded itsservicestooffer morecomprehensive musictherapyoptions forinfants,children, teensandyoungadults Now,thankstoadvances chnologyandadditional resources,kidscantakepart insessionstailoredtotheirabilities–including,forexample,recordingtheheartbeat

Intheearlysummerof2023,alocallybased videogamestudioannouncedaunique milestoneinvideogamehistory.Graphite Lab’snewtitle,“Mr.RunandJump,”isa2D retroplatformerdevelopedfortheAtari2600, makingitthefirstcartridgereleasedforthe1977 consolesince1990.

“‘Mr.RunandJump’startedyearsagoasa hobbyprojectbyourleadengineer,JohnMikula,” GraphiteLabstudiodirectorMattRaithelsays. “So,itwasapassionprojectfirstandforemost. Theevolutionintoacriticallyacclaimedmoderndayrelease–andthesubsequentissueofthe classiccartridge–wasn’tevenathoughtinour mindswhenJohnstartedyearsandyearsago.”
