The Laguna Tools SmartShop | MT is the most versatile router platform ever created. With an extended gantry and extra-large tool plate, the machine can be configured to meet multiple production needs in a single machine.

Applications for this machine are endless. In addition to the stock 4 HP spindle, tool possibilities include tangential knife system, roller creasing wheel, oscillating tangential knife, right angle spindle, secondary spindle for metal (low RPM), repeated drilling process, braille distributor and pneumatic self-feed tapping system. Since the SmartShop | MT uses Laguna's 4th axis control set, a turning device (lathe) can be added as well. So many tool possibilities, too many to list. One key feature is the retraction of added devices on precision linear pneumatic slides so when not in use, they are out of the way while routing. Another major feature is the identification of each item on the tool plate by a specific tool number, while X and Y offset from main spindle is in the tool call out. All of our steel is stress relieved, an annealing process that heats the metal below the austenite phase to reduce distortions or changes in dimensions that might occur after shaping.

Becker offers a variety of vacuum pump types that cover a wide range of operating pressures from atmospheric to 0.5 torr (29.9 in.Hg). These include both oil-less/dry and oil flooded rotary vane; oil-less/dry rotary screw; regenerative blowers, and radial blowers.

Used in point-to-point boring machines and in milling machines, the boring heads for CNC machines are available in a wide range of models with vertical spindles, horizontal spindles or cutting units. The use of pneumatically driven units with oval section pistons guarantees a 35% increase in thrust in the spindle lowering mechanism, compared to traditional units with a circular section. HSD independent spindle boring heads are equipped with a series of remote controlled solenoid valves with just one connection, eliminating the need to wire each individual spindle.

A new solution to an old problem. Heat build up on dry machining operations reduces tool life and machining rates. The Cold Gun Aircoolant System produces a stream of clean cold air at 50째F (28째C) below supply air temperature. Operation is now a quiet 70 DBA and there are no moving parts to wear out. It will remove heat to prolong tool life and increase productivity on machining operations when liquid coolants cannot be used.

The NEW Laguna Tools Bandit 3/2 is the compact heavy-weight in our line of automatic edgebanders. Designed for every-day professional use with all 2mm materials, this machine also has the capacity to handle up to 3mm edgebanding with ABS and similar materials. The gluepot allows for maximum flexibility for use with PVC, wood tape, laminate and wood strips. Standard features include automatic end trim with dual-blade end cutting units, edge trimming with dual high-frequency motors, buffing unit, adjustable overhead control panel, pull-out support rollers for wide panels, and electronic temperature control with digital readout.
