If you get a new laptop, DO NOT use your EDU account to set up your laptop, use a personal email account (Gmail, iCloud)
Your email is only active while you are a student at Lakeland College
Anytime you log into your @edu.lakelandcollege.ca account from off campus, you will be asked to prove your identity by accessing the Microsoft Authentication app, or by getting an authorization number sent to your cell phone. This includes D2L log ins, and all web-based portals.
Self service password reset will allow you to reset your own password instead of contacting IT to reset it for you.

As a student you will use My Lakeland to get information about your classes, timetable, fees, T2202 Tax form and to verify your contact information.
You will have received your MyLakeland username and password in an email. (Username is your student ID number, Password is a random string of characters)
You'll be given access to My Lakeland a few weeks before your classes start.
Lakeland College has a mobile app available for current students. You can create an account using your personal email address.
Our app is available to download free from Apple and Android app stores or search LakelandCollege in your app stores
The college also has Lakeland Safe, an app with health and safety information and contacts.
