he lake level was 657.8, generation of 1,000 cubic feet per second (CFS) throughout the week for a level of 657.8 by the weekend. Surface temperature at Bagnell Dam was 44 degrees. Truman Lake was at the 705.2 level. To Note: The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is from the 22- to 38-mile mark, the Upper Osage is from the 38-mile mark to the Route 65 Bridge. Bagnell Dam spillway/Osage River Water clarity: Stained. Fishing is slow for all species. Lower Osage Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Fair on jigs, jerkbaits and Alabama rigs along steep banks in coves and secondary points. Crappie: Good on jigs 10 to 25 feet deep around main lake docks. Gravois Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Good on jigs, crankbaits, Alabama rigs and suspending stickbaits along channel banks and points in the creeks. Crappie: Good on jigs and jerkbaits 6 to 15 feet deep around brush piles in the creeks and main lake docks. Mid-Lake Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Good on jerkbaits and jigs along channel banks in coves. Crappie: Good on jigs 6 to 12 feet deep around brush and docks on the main lake and in creeks. January 21 - February 10, 2022

Crappie: Good on jigs 10 to 20 feet deep around brush near deep water or around shad schools. Niangua Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Fair on stickbaits and shaky head worms in coves. Crappie: Fair on jigs and minnows 8 to 14 feet deep around docks. Upper Osage Water clarity: Clear. Crappie: Good on jigs 10 feet deep over brush.
