The 32nd annual Christmas for Kids will be held Dec. 11 at the Lodge of Four Seasons Campana Hall. Cocktails at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m. Complimentary beer and wine will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Entertainment will be provided by Elite Lighting & Sound. Individual tickets are $100/person with several sponsorship opportunities offered. Each person is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy ($20+ value) or a $20 cash donation. Christmas Theater
$10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under
The Sunrise Beach Little Theatre will be presenting a young people’s production of “Christmas Shorts” by Lucy Williams and directed by Cheryl Glawe and Beth Buffe on Thursday and Friday evenings December 9 and 10. There is something for everyone in this one-act holiday delight made up of short scenes and monologues. From kids writing letters to Santa to the Big Guy getting ready for Christmas himself. There is a holiday quiz show featuring Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghost of Christmas Past. This production will be presented at the Sunrise Beach Community Center (15133 North Hwy 5) in Sunrise Beach. Doors open at 6 p.m. with play beginning at 7 p.m. Reservations are not required.
