My One Week Journey with Z.E.N. foods The following pages will reflect my journey with Z.E.N. Foods I purchased a 7 day weight loss plan at a huge discount from a 1 day internet deal. I told the representative at Z.E.N. that I didn’t want red meat, bleu cheese or eggplant in any of the meals. He said I should lose 5 pounds this week. Let’s see how this all works out…


Day #1 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition) BREAKFAST Banana Baked Oatmeal with Shredded Coconut and Slivered Almonds (The oatmeal was a bit bland compared to the sugary organic oatmeal that I normally eat. However, the portion amount was pretty big. I couldn’t even finish it.)


Day #1 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition) SNACK Cantaloupe and Blueberries (That hit the spot)


Day #1 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition) LUNCH Smoked Chicken, Wheatberries, Shaved Jicama and Cranberries on Mixed Baby Greens (Being a salad lover, I LOVED this meal. Best thing – I didn’t have to cut anything up on my own!)


Day #1 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition) SNACK Tomato and Zucchini with Feta and Sherry-Thyme Vinaigrette (Who knew that a vegetable could be a snack?! Not bad. This suppressed my craving for sweets.)


Day #1 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition) DINNER Blackened Salmon with Apricot Couscous and Snow Peas (Pretty tasty! Made me finally appreciate couscous.)


Day #1 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition) DESSERT Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie (I was so anxious to satisfy my sweet tooth, I forgot to take a picture of this cookie before it went into my belly!)
